The 10th "Intellectual Huadu · Talent Morning Tea Party" for Creation of "City of Sky" in Huadu
A regular meeting over tea. On the morning of July 30, Huadu District held its 10th "Intellectual Huadu · Talent Morning Tea Party", where District leaders and 7 enterprise representatives, experts and scholars in low-altitude economy gathered together to speak their minds freely in exploration of Huadu's future down the "road of low-altitude".
The morning tea party invited 7 high-level talents, experts and representatives in the low-altitude economy to jointly plan the development of Huadu's low-altitude economy, including Gao Yuanyang, Director of the Research Center of General Aviation Industry at Beihang University, Wang Min, Director of the Guangzhou Airworthiness Certification Center of CAAC Airworthiness Certification Center, Zhang Xiaoming, Deputy Chief Engineer of Guangzhou Urban Planning & Design Survey Research Institute and Director of the Low Altitude Economic Research Center, Liu Yi, Dean of the Department of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence at the Civil Aviation Management Institute of China and President of the Future Civil Aviation Research Institute, Zhao Peipei, Board Chair of Huaxin International Investment Co., Ltd., Tang Bo, Board Chair and President of Shenzhen Zhisheng High-tech Research Institute, and Meng Wei, CTO of Guangzhou Feidun Technology Co., Ltd. and Vice President of the School of Automation at Guangdong University of Technology.
Relying on the low-altitude airspace, dominated by the general aviation industry, and led by the flight activities of various manned and unmanned aircraft, the low-altitude economy can influence and drive the deep integration and development of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries.
Huadu is actively planning to build itself into the core hub of the low-altitude economy in the Greater Bay Area, and is currently promoting steadily the construction of three major infrastructures: comprehensive support base for general aviation, low-altitude economic industrial park, and temporary landing site. The comprehensive support base for general aviation has a planned area of 76 acres, where a runway of about 850 meters long and 23 meters wide will be built to satisfy the needs of light sport aircraft, helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft and some aircraft of the normal category. With a planned area of 23 acres, the low-altitude economy industrial park will focus on the manufacturing of complete unmanned aerial vehicles, eVTOL, flying cars, starting from the production of core components to gradually build a low-altitude economic industrial chain, and expand to such applications as sightseeing tourism, flight experience, research, study and popularization, emergency rescue and others. Adjacent to the low-altitude economy industrial park, the temporary landing site will have a runway of about 550 meters long and 30 meters wide. The Site's application for aviation space and routes has been approved and the core conditions for operation are already in place.
In addition, Huadu has a plan to release the "Several Measures to Promote the High-quality Development of Low-altitude Economy in Huadu District" in the near future, which will propose 10 specific measures in various aspects, including cultivating and expanding low-altitude economy enterprises, promoting industrial clustering of low-altitude economy, and accelerating the construction of low-altitude economy infrastructure; enterprises may be offered settlement incentives up to 2 million yuan, and output value incentives up to 2 million yuan; with a plan to set up a low-altitude industry fund, carry out precise investment promotion, and create a whole industry chain of low-altitude economy covering low-altitude manufacturing industry, low-altitude transportation, sightseeing and study tours, and flight education and training, Huadu is looking at a future development with unlimited potential, and is a rapidly emerging power in the field of low-altitude economy.
There is a consensus among industry experts who participated in this morning tea party that Huadu's solid industrial foundation as an advanced manufacturing base can provide support for the production of batteries, engines and fuselage parts for low-altitude aircraft; meanwhile, Huadu's clusters of leading enterprises in aviation logistics and supply chain guarantees source of goods, which will lay a foundation for the construction of a low-altitude logistics and transportation network system; and abundant local ecological resources, such as Zhudong Village, Wangzi Mountain, Furongzhang, Huadu Lake and other scenic spots scattered in the District, provide favorable conditions for the integrated development of low-altitude economy and cultural tourism industry, and will generate more new consumption scenes for Huadu's cultural tourism; the large number of undeveloped land resources near core infrastructure such as the low-altitude economic industrial park and the temporary landing site can fully meet the needs of industrial expansion; being 20 kilometers of air distance from Baiyun International Airport, and free of surrounding tall mountains give the area good airport clearance; and the nearby Guangzhou Airworthiness Certification Center, Guangzhou Civil Aviation College, Guangdong Peizheng College and other important establishments can provide policy guidance and talent support for settling enterprises. In view of Huadu government's sense of mission and responsibility for the development of low-altitude economy, Huadu is definitely an ideal place for the development of low-altitude economy in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
