The Rural Work Conference of the CPC Huadu District Committee cum Promotion Meeting for "Project of High-quality Development in Hundred Counties, Thousands Towns and Ten Thousand Villages" was held, which aimed to study and implement in a deep-going way the spirit of the important instructions given by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection tour of Guangdong, to comprehensively implement the spirit of the Central Rural Work Conference, to conscientiously implement the spirit of the CPC Guangdong Committee and Guangzhou Committee's Rural Work Conferences cum Promotion Meetings for "Project of High-quality Development in Hundred Counties, Thousands Towns and Ten Thousand Villages" , to further analyze, plan and promote the work related to agriculture, rural areas, and farmers as well as to the "Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Project" in Huadu District, to focus on the goals, concentrate force on key points, and attack the weak points, and to solidly promote new breakthroughs and open new chapters in the integration of urban and rural areas and the coordinated development of regions. Xing Xiang, secretary of the District Party Chief, delivered a speech at the event, which was presided over by Li Xiaodong, Deputy Party Chief and mayor of the District.

Xing Xiang affirmed the District's efforts in the past year to take the "Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Project" as a leading force, and seek solid advance in making powerful district, prosperous towns and rich villages, which had resulting in effective and efficient promotion of the comprehensive revitalization of the countryside and the integrated development of urban and rural areas. She pointed out that departments at all levels in the District should maintain better political stance, should improve the senses of mission, responsibility and urgency in doing a good job in "agriculture, rural areas, and farmers" work and implementing the “Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Project" with the determination of "embarking a new journey with heavy duty on shoulder", should carefully study and deeply analyze the situation and shortcomings, and make development plans according to gaps and shortcomings identify through benchmarking outstanding regions, should accelerate the modernization of agriculture and rural areas with strong responsibility and pragmatic work measures, and quicken the pace in the implementation of the "No. 1 Project" that is the "Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Project", and should strive to write a chapter of Huadu in the integration of urban and rural areas and in the coordinated development of the region. It was essential to focus on key tasks, and solidly promote the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas and promote the coordinated development of urban and rural areas with the vigor to "complete three-year tasks in two years". Xing Xiang emphasized that it was essential to be strict about responsibilities, and work with the tenacity of bamboos that "relentlessly take root on the mountain” to effectively promote the transformation of Huadu's comparative advantages into development victories. It was essential to closely focus on the deployment of Guangdong province and Guangzhou city, and with the enthusiasm that "do not suffer waiting, slowness, and standby", and the work style that "confront, brave and endure hardship", all departments should further consolidate work responsibilities, improve work style, and strengthen assessment and incentives, to implement the rural revitalization strategy in a deep-going way, speed up the promotion of the "Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Project", and keep writing new chapters of coordinated development of urban and rural areas.

Li Xiaodong emphasized that it was necessary to boost confidence to strive to be the first, strengthen the awareness of becoming higher and stronger, always keep in mind the "agriculture, rural areas, and farmers" work, and speed up the progress of the "Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Project". At the meeting, Zheng Zhongmin, member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Head of the United Front Work Department, gave a report of assessment and evaluation results of Huadu District in the implementation of the "Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Project" in 2023; Hu Biaofa, deputy major of the District, offered explanations to the document titled "Key Work Points of Huadu District of Guangzhou in Comprehensive Promotion in 2024 of the "Project of High-quality Development in Hundred Counties, Thousands Towns and Ten Thousand Villages" to Advance Coordinated Development of Urban and Rural Areas", and some responsible officials of District agencies, towns (streets) and representatives of enterprises also spoke on the meeting.

The meeting was broadcast in the form of video to every town (street).
