Today's Huadu News: Guangzhou Huadu Automobile Culture Festival, "Joy in the Ram City”, opened in Huadu Plaza on November 13. The event was jointly organized by Huadu District government and Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company, and its opening ceremony was honored by the presence of Huang Weilin, Xing Xiang, Luo Ganzheng, Chen Yaobin and others District leaders.

　　In his address at the ceremony, Mr. Luo Ganzheng, member of the Standing Committee of Huadu District Party Committee and Executive Deputy District Mayor, pointed out that in recent years, Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company has managed to shift from the scale-and-speed development mode to the quality-and-efficiency mode by deepening structural reform on the supply side in the automobile industry, and has made a significant contribution to the city's goal of building a world-class automobile industry cluster. As the “mother factory” and the largest vehicle manufacturing base of Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company, Dongfeng Nissan Huadu Plant has played its role in making Huadu the region in Guangzhou that has the largest scale, a complete industrial chain, and the highest industrial concentration of automobile industry.

　　It has been learned that the event aimed to create a convenient place for citizens to experience automobile culture, in which automobile technology, creative ideas market, and trendy show are perfectly mixed. By tapping into the profound cultural heritage of Huadu, and pursuing innovation and integration in both form and content, the event successfully incorporated Cantonese culture features, local intangible cultural heritage and other elements. The section of car trunk marketplace, centering on the themes of "scenes of Guangzhou", "style of Guangzhou" and "taste of Guangzhou", was arranged and decorated using such elements as "Guangzhou Tower", "Five-goat Statue", “lion dance" and “Cantonese dim sum". The special booth section, decorated with “lime sculptures", a kind of intangible cultural heritage, displayed characteristic sweet drinks of Guangzhou; it created a strong local cultural atmosphere that helped to bring closer together the government, enterprises and the public, and made the event a truly friendly one to the general public.

　　The activities of "Live Cantonese Karaoke", DJ performance, laser show, theme parade and others, exhibition of all models of Dongfeng Nissan’s product range, and experience activities such as eye-controlled racing and stepping racing, offered citizens a real feast of automobile culture.
