Today's Huadu News: A ceremony was held on November 10 at the Financial Street of Huadu District to celebrate the opening for business of ZF (Guangzhou) Technology Co., Ltd; the District welcomed the investment of another Fortune Global 500 company. The ceremony event was honored by Luo Ganzheng, Member of Standing Committee of the District Party and Deputy District Mayor, relevant responsible officials of District Bureau of Science, Industry, Commerce and Information Technology, and senior officials of ZF China.

　　According to Song Ninghua, Vice President of ZF Passive Safety Technology business unit, and He Changhao, General Manager of ZF Anting R&D Center/ZF (Guangzhou) Technology Co., Ltd., the company’s goal is to build a nationally leading, fully functional R&D in Huadu, with its focuses on the four technical fields, vehicle motion control, integrated safety system, autonomous driving, and electric drive. The company has full confidence in its future development in Huadu, and hopes to help improve the host city's capacity level, positively contribute to the publicity of local business environment, and attract industry partners to settle in Huadu.

　　Luo Ganzheng said that ZF Group is a leading supplier of auto parts in the world; that on November 27 last year, the two parties signed an investment agreement at the site of Guangzhou Municipal Government. ZF Group would build a South China R&D headquarters and a R&D center in Huadu District to promote the development of R&D projects in automotive electronics, automotive safety systems, new energy vehicle components, self-driving cars, and other fields, and would gradually establish the system for the R&D, production, sales and service of automobile, industrial and agricultural equipment parts and related software; and that he has asked relevant functional departments of the District to offer green channel service and give the company priority in handling administrative procedures, so as to facilitate the settlement and growth of the company in the District. He also expressed hope that more global technology companies like ZF could set up independent regional headquarters in Huadu District, and work together to grow a stronger automobile industry in Huadu.
