Today’s Huadu News: The 9th China Guangzhou International Finance Expo (GIFE) opened in Pazhou, Guangzhou on September 24. The Expo lasted for three days and ended on September 26. Huadu participated in the Expo to promote the District centering on the theme of "Air-Rail Integration· Green Development”, and successfully attracted a large number of exhibitors to come for discussion. At the Expo open ceremony at the main venue in the morning, a contract signing ceremony for industry-finance docking projects was held at the witness of Zhang Xin, Vice Governor of Guangdong Province, in which Genimous Technology Co., Ltd., a Huadu-based company, signed a strategic cooperation agreement on supply chain finance with Bank of Guangzhou Co., Ltd.

　　As an important platform to showcase the achievements of Guangdong and Guangzhou in the reform, innovation and development of the financial industry, the GIFE has become a large financial trading expo in China with strong regional influence, and rich functions and content. Centering on the topic of "Financial Stabilization: Adapt to Global Changes, and Create a New Industry", GIFE this year witnessed the participation of more than 300 financial institutions; it had 10 themed exhibition areas: financial exchanges and cooperation, banking, securities, insurance, local finance, enterprise groups, financial culture, as well as fintech, green finance, and the "Fighting the Epidemic-Financial Industry in Action" exhibition, which are new this year.

　　Located at the core area of the national-level green financial reform and innovation pilot zone, and bestowed with Baiyun International Airport and Guangzhou North Railway Station in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, Huadu is one of the future air-rail combined transport hub in the Greater Bay Area and the most advantageous area in air-rail integration economy. While relying on air-rail combined transportation to build a demonstration zone for the development of air-rail integration growth, the District is also vigorously advancing mechanism and product innovations of green finance to accelerate the construction of a green industry system, drive the development of green industry clusters in the District, and eventually achieve high-quality economic development. The completion of the air-rail combined transport system and the formation of green industry clusters will ignite a new engine for the high-quality development of Huadu, making the District take off for the future development.

　　　　The promotion display of the District at the booth was divided into five major sections: Bay Area Engine, Air-Rail Combined Transport, Green Industry, Green Finance, and Support Enterprises in the Pandemic. They combined to give an introduction to Huadu District as a whole, show the District as a three-dimensional transportation hub with "air-rail combined transport” at the heart, depict the green industry layout characterized with "one axis and four zones; one core and multiple clusters", present the progress in the construction of the green finance reform and innovation pilot zone, and showcase the functions and achievements of green finance in the fight against the pandemic.
