Today's Huadu News: Huadu District Government and Yue Wang Agricultural Group Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in the District on Aug. 27, in order to help Huadu District's industrial upgrading and modern agricultural development, to push forward the organic integration of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries, and to build Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area tourist zone and demonstration project of rural revitalization. The signing ceremony was witnessed by District leaders Huang Weilin, Li Xiaodong, and Zheng Chongmin, heads of related functional departments of the District, and Wan Junhua, Yue Wang’s board chair.

　　  Based on the project's planning and development positioning, and in the light of natural geographical environment, the project will be divided into seven major functional areas, including modern agricultural demonstration area, high-tech agricultural tourist area, efficient fish farming tourist area, biological research and education area, and multi-functional tourist attraction cluster, paleontological and geological park, and ancient village open attractions; all areas have their own characteristics, and are relatively independent, yet organically connected. The project has about 13.33 square kilometers preliminarily planned for it, with an estimated investment of 1.5 billion yuan. The development will be completed in three stages in 3-5 years.

　　  Mr. WanJunhuasaid that closely following the spirit of the state’s rural revitalization strategy, the project fully taps into the resource and manpower advantages of Tanbu and Chini Towns. As one of the key national leading enterprises in agricultural industrialization, Yue Wang Group hopes to use its home field advantage to bring new vitality to the revitalization of Huadu's rural areas, optimize local industrial structure, improve the quality and efficiency of agricultural and rural economic development, and contribute to continuous increase of farmers' income.

　　  Huadu District Party Secretary Huang Weilin pointed out that Yue Wang Group has been fulfilling its corporate responsibilities and obligations by actively participating in the country's east and west cooperation and poverty alleviation campaigns, and has created many high-quality poverty alleviation projects, bringing many people in poverty-stricken areas to the road to wealth. Choosing Huadu as home to its new project is another major move of the Group in contribution to the revitalization of Guangzhou's rural areas. It is hoped that through the hard work and cooperation on both sides, Yue Wang Huazhidu Agriculture Complex will be built into a high-quality project of the city, the province, and the country. The party committee and the government of the District will actively support the continuous advancement of the project and solve problems encountered during the process.
