Huadu Goes Online Selling in the First Guangzhou Livestreaming Festival, with 1000 blockbuster products from 500 Companies

    Livestreaming showcases Huadu's advantages in manufacturing

    As the first livestreaming festival in the country that takes a whole city as its platform, Guangzhou Livestreaming Festival will last for 3 days, from June 6 to 8; during the event livestreaming activities will take place in the main location and multiple sub-locations across the city, for multiple categories of products, and in multiple different scenes.     According to the person in charge of the District Bureau of Science, Industry, Commerce and Information Technology, working together with Douyin and other livestreaming commerce platforms in this Festival, Huadu endeavors to open green channels to support enterprises in the industrial belt to engage in livestreaming commerce; to innovate livestreaming methods, break down industry boundaries, and encourage government leaders + enterprise chairperson to help influencer to attract more traffic and increase conversion rate; and to combine industry advantages and innovative livestreaming modes to promote headquarters companies and chain stores engage in livestreaming commerce, so as to push forward the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries.

    Policies are rolled out to support the development of livestreaming commerce

    E-commerce in the District has been developing in leaps and bounds since 2014. According to an official in charge of the District E-Commerce Chamber of Commerce, the District seized moment of livestreaming commerce and worked with Taobao, JD.com, Pinduoduo, Kuaishou and Douyin to create “festivals” last year. As to talent training, more than 800 people were trained on livestreaming commerce last year. The official said that livestreaming commerce will be a standard part of the business model or business form in the future. Huadu nearly has every part of the livestreaming commerce; however, it is only when those parts form a complete ecological system that it can be called a sustainable industry. And it takes joint effort of the government, platforms and enterprises to couple such parts into an industry chain.
