Today’s Huadu News: In order to solve of the problem of sagging labor demand of enterprises in the District due to the epidemic, and to satisfy the needs of enterprises for them to resume work, an employment symposium between Yangshan County of QingyuanCity and Huadu District of Guangzhou was jointly held on Feb. 21 under the title of “Fight Epidemic and Warm Enterprises” by Huadu Federation of Trade Unions, Huadu Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and Yangshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. Lan Haibin, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Huadu District People's Congress and President of Huadu Federation of Trade Unions, was presented at the meeting. Also present were principal officials from Huadu Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Huadu Federation of Trade Unions, and Yangshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and responsible persons of 5 enterprises in Huadu, including, Apower Electronics Co., Ltd., Hongli Zhihui Group Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Dayun Motorcycle Co.,Ltd., Guangzhou Ridgepole Biological Technology Co.,Ltd., and Guangzhou Keying Cosmetics Co., Ltd.

　　  Representatives from Apower Electronics and other four companies took their turns to give an introduction to Yangshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau about the work types and job positions they were seeking to fill, and related salaries, working environment, working time, and employee benefits. Participants also discussed how to better align the labor seeking companies and the job-seeking poor people in the context of epidemic control. Three points of consensus were reached at the meeting: firstly, quick actions should be taken; Huadu Human Resources and Social Security Bureau should collect information about labor needs of companies in the District, and by Yangshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau should launch a publicity campaign to inform local people; secondly, set up a two-way communication and recommendation mechanism; Yangshan should select and recruitment information of enterprises, and so promote such information that people in towns and villages could receive them; Yangshan should also collect information of all people in the County who have a college degree to set up an information platform on which supply of labor can be matched with labor needs of the enterprises; and thirdly, as the actual conditions might permit, enterprises of Huadu District would set up local service points in such towns and villages of Yangshan in which labor supply is relative strong to offer one-stop services ranging from interview, medical examination, and contract execution to picking up.

　　  Yangshan County is the counterpart of Huadu in the paired assistance program of precision poverty alleviation. By connecting labor needs of enterprises of Huadu and labor supply of people in financial difficulty in Yangshan, and by promoting and improving labor force alignment between the two placesin the direction of good regulation, regular practice, and sustainable development, the fight against poverty will have better chance to win.
