Today's Huadu News: The 2020 Huadu Spring Festival Gala, in conjunction with the 2019 Award Ceremony of Huadu District for Charitable Organizations and Individuals, was held at Dongfeng Stadium on January 17. The 2019 Huadu District Charitable Donors List was announced, and commemorative plaques were given by Deputy District Mayor Min Fei to individuals and organizations that won the title of “Prominent Charitable Donor” among other outstanding donors.

　　A total charitable donations just shy of 33.077 million was received in Huadu District during the “Guangdong Poverty Alleviation Day” and the “Yangcheng Charity for People” campaign, which played an active role in helping the District in fighting against poverty. This purpose of holding the award ceremony is to praise charitable acts, to set role models for the cause, to encourage wider participation in charity, and to further promote the project of building the city into a "City of Charity".

　　Mr. Chen Zhixiong, Chairman of Guangzhou Xiongwei Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., won the title of 2019 "Prominent Charitable Donor" of Huadu District; Guangdong Girdear Fashion Co., Ltd., and Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company were recognized as outstanding charitable donors; and 12 other organizations were honored with 2019 Huadu District Charity Outstanding Charity Award, including Guangzhou Minggao Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Goldvole Group Co., Ltd., Guangzhou GTD China Inc., Aoyuan Group (Guangzhou) Ltd., Guangzhou Hopewell (Huadu) Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Dongjing Xincheng Properties Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Dongxing Julong Cultural & Sports Goods Co., Ltd., Mean Well (Guangzhou) Electronics Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Fuyuan Charity Foundation, Guangzhou Huadu Association of Taiwan Enterprises, Guangzhou Huadu Huayan Temple, and Guangzhou Aier Eye Hospital Co., Ltd.
