In 2024, thanks to the careful guidance of the Municipal and District Bureaus of Commerce, Huadu Autocity won the second place in the evaluation of the demonstration carriers of the central government's quality and efficiency improvement in international trade and economy (C36 automobile manufacturing industry), and four parks on the platform of the Huadu (International) Automobile Industry Base that have been included in the second batch of the demonstration carriers of the central government's quality and efficiency improvement in international trade and economy were given 57.75 million yuan of special funds, which has injected strong impetus into the high-quality development and transformation and upgrading of enterprises.
Driven by of the second batch of central government's quality and efficiency improvement projects in international trade and economy, the companies in the Autocity that are involved in foreign trade of cars have shown a strong momentum of rising against the headwind of the market. During the evaluation period, the export volume was 2.17 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.3%; the export value of high-tech products was 164 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 18.9%; the export value of domestic independent brands was 1.159 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23.2%; and the value of trade in services and service outsourcing was 120 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 629%.
Dongfeng Nissan, a pacesetting enterprise, has established mutual trust, or signed regional strategic cooperation agreements, with investors from many countries such as AW-Rostamani in the United Arab Emirates, AL. Babtain in Kuwait and Y.K.A in Bahrain; the export of complete vehicles reached 112 million yuan during the annual evaluation period, a year-on-year increase of 412.7%. Jingzhong, an auto parts company has joined force with Nancy M. Hadel Family Trust of Michigan, USA and invested $11 million to establish Dag Technology LLC as its "bridgehead" for overseas business; Forda company has successfully built ties with high-quality overseas customers such as VOLVO, GROTE, and Grillo, and realized mass sales of products; Valeo, taking advantage of the opportunity of the quality and efficiency improvement projects in international trade and economy, has promoted the transfer of the group's business to Guangzhou, China, and it is estimated that the output value would reach more than 1 billion yuan in 2024, with a year-on-year growth rate of nearly 20%.
Dongfeng Nissan Technology Center plans to invest 10 billion yuan in three years, increase the number of employees from 1,600 to more than 4,000, continue to focus on the domestic market, and lead the innovation and development of Huadu's automobile industry.
Now, the Autocity has cultivated 6 national-level "little giants", 68 provincial-level specialized, refined, differentiated, and innovative enterprises, 86 high-tech enterprises, and 84 small and medium-sized science and technology enterprises, which jointly constitute a solid foundation for the vigorous development of Huadu's automobile industry.
